While $100 may seem like a solid amount of money, it goes FAST. Everyone spends differently, and this video from WatchCut is a really interesting look at how eight different households decided to divide up their precious dollars. It's insane how much just ONE necessary item, like diapers, can cost a family. One woman sees $100 as food for the whole week; another man thinks it would only last him a few days (or one indulgent night).

I'm pretty sure we were ALL the pizza roll- and pasta-eating college kid at one point in time, and if I'm being honest, I'm kind of still the wine guy from the video. Avocados plus a nice bottle of red is all you need for a week, right? One mom points out that for some families in other countries, $100 is actually closer to what they'd be allotted for a month.
